Border skirmish continues in Nowshehra sector | KNO

Jammu, March 05 (KNO) : The border skirmishes continued on Tuesday as India Pakistan armies continued to exchange gunfire along Line of Control in Nowshehra sector in District Rajouri on Tuesday, officials said. According to KNO correspondent, at about 1130 hours, Pak army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by shelling with mortars and firing of small arms along LoC in Nowshera Sector, District Rajouri (J&K). The official said that the Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively. The border skirmish is going on intermittently from past over two weeks, leading to death of two women, a boy and a baby girl in Chajjla and Jhulas Salhotri villages of Poonch besides injuries to many others across Rajouri and Poonch districts. Around 42 people from Jhulas Salhotri village had already migrated to a temporary relief camp set by authorities while few villagers from forward Chajjla are camping in a shrine in the area. (KNO)
